As I sit down to create, I close my eyes and remember…
It’s a Sunday afternoon and I am four years old. I jump out of the car and run towards the white gates of Grandma and Grandpa’s backyard. I leap into Grandpa’s arms and he squeezes me tight, while I squeeze back as hard as my little muscles can. Then I look to Grandma, smiling in her lounge chair. Her magnificent, glittery earrings, matching her outfit to perfection, capture me instantly. Once again I am enthralled by the splendor of her accessories. I make my way over to play with her many rings and admire the fascinating objects that decorate her ears.

Anice Kulak is my grandmother. I attribute my obsession and dedication to designing jewellery to her. Anice is the inspiration to my creations.

Inspired by her grandmother's fearless sense of style, Brittany Anice Catherine Hopkins has been dreaming of and designing jewellery for over the last decade.
All of the Anice Jewellery designs are conceptualized and realized upon the foundation that each piece should be as beautiful and unique as it's wearer. “New On Old” is a guiding principle for Britt, and by using semi-precious stones, mixed metal, vintage treasures, and reconstructed amulets, Anice will inspire you to rediscover new love in old gems.
What was once a hobby for this free-spirit has since become a personal and career-defining passion. Having graduated with a Business Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Britt made the leap to Toronto in 2008 to hone her craft and focus on developing the Anice brand. In order to take Anice Jewellery to the next level, Britt attended and graduated from George Brown College with a Goldsmithing Diploma in 2010.
Anice specializes in custom jewellery and collaborates with clients to create expressive, one-of-a-kind, and distinct pieces. The process of creating a custom piece with Anice from start to finish is designed to make you smile, instill confidence, and accent your natural beauty with a completely individual accessory.
